Who We Are

About CREATA

The Center for Regeneration and Empowerment of Africa Through Africa (CREATA) is a registered Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) established in 2006. The word CREATA is derived from the Latin term creata, meaning to create or creation. It symbolizes our commitment to an integrated approach to human and environmental development—one that upholds the integrity of creation and the stewardship of humankind.

Our work is rooted in the belief that every person holds the creative power to transform their circumstances. We strive to nurture this potential, especially among young people, to enable them to find innovative solutions to their challenges and contribute to nation-building with renewed conviction and love for Kenya.

Our Work is Guided by Core Values

What We Do

We contribute to peacebuilding through conflict analysis, civic education, and leadership training. Our Annual Peace Festival addresses community issues related to peace, justice, and leadership.
Since 2009, we've used sports to promote leadership, women's empowerment, value-based education, and social cohesion. Our SEP program unites parents, teachers, and students to enhance education.
Our sunflower farming initiative (Kamida Enterprises Ltd.) provides smallholder farmers, particularly women and youth, with climate-resilient livelihoods, addressing food insecurity, unemployment, and poor nutrition.
We focus on empowering children (especially the girl child), youth, and women through value-based education, leadership programs, and community engagement to break the cycle of poverty.
We advocate for environmental conservation and sustainable practices, integrating climate action into all our programs to ensure a healthy planet for future generations.
CREATA is a value-driven organization anchored on patriotism, faith, integrity, and service.
